Job Description

Project Engineer Overview

  • The Project Engineer will oversee RFI management, submittals, procurement tracking, and QA/QC processes to ensure project success.
  • Support project closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project schedules and budgets effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and processes.
  • Work on-site to oversee project progress and address any issues promptly.

Project Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and process RFIs and submittals to ensure project alignment with client requirements.
  • Track procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections to uphold project standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Support project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation handover.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.

Project Engineer Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in managing RFIs, submittals, and procurement tracking processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
