Financial Advisor Overview

  • The Financial Advisor will join a private wealth advisory practice, supporting a Senior Financial Advisor in managing client relationships and financial planning initiatives.
  • This role offers hands-on exposure to the full advisory lifecycle, fostering professional growth into an autonomous advisor position.
  • Collaborate with a team dedicated to delivering premium client experiences and financial planning services.
  • Support a Forbes-recognized advisor, contributing to the growth and success of the practice.
  • Engage in business development activities, including prospecting and outreach to build a qualified client pipeline.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing financial recommendations and maintaining high service standards.
  • Develop and maintain client financial plans, aligning with their goals and risk tolerance.

Financial Advisor Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to build and maintain a qualified client pipeline.
  • Support and service existing clients through relationship management and business development initiatives.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, coordinating account setup, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare financial plans, case analyses, and client-ready recommendations tailored to individual needs.
  • Participate in client meetings, taking notes and executing follow-up actions effectively.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure timely processing and documentation compliance.
  • Engage in proactive outreach to prospective and existing clients for scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to practice-building initiatives, including marketing and client acquisition strategies.

Financial Advisor Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fully licensed with SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65).
  • 1-5 years of experience in financial services, investment management, or private wealth advisory.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, account types, and client service processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
  • Confident and professional communication skills with clients and prospects.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development and practice growth.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
