Trading Assistant Overview
- The Trading Assistant will support the Global Relative Value Trading team in a dynamic, fast-paced investment environment.
- Collaborate with traders to ensure accurate trade execution and robust risk management processes.

Trading Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Support traders in executing and booking trades across fixed income markets.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade capture within front-office trading systems.
- Monitor trade flows and resolve booking discrepancies with precision.
- Collaborate with middle and back office teams to address trade breaks and settlement issues.
- Maintain accurate records of trading activity and amendments for compliance purposes.
- Monitor desk positions, P&L, inventory, and risk exposures throughout the trading day.
- Assist traders with risk reporting, scenario analysis, and position management tasks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and control processes for efficiency.
- Contribute to the testing and implementation of system enhancements and workflow automation.
Trading Assistant Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably buyside, with solid rates exposure.
- Strong understanding of fixed income and currency products, including bonds, IRS, Repo, and derivatives.
- Familiarity with trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and Markit.
- Proficiency in relative value trading concepts and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly organized with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
