Audit Partner Overview

  • The Audit Partner will lead the Audit & Assurance practice, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • This role offers a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing group within a dynamic professional services platform.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape strategic direction and develop the next generation of audit leadership.
  • Engage with clients across industries such as Construction, Real Estate, and Professional Services.

Audit Partner Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead planning, execution, and completion of audit, review, and attestation engagements.
  • Oversee engagement quality, risk management, and adherence to firm methodologies.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in various industries.
  • Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
  • Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Support the firm's peer review, quality control, and compliance programs.

Audit Partner Job Requirements

  • Active CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience with significant audit responsibilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of engagement management and leadership experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in Construction, Real Estate, and Professional Services industries preferred.
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
