Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Overview

• The Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN will provide high-quality medical care within the scope of licensed practice, emphasizing patient-centered fertility and women's health services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art healthcare environment.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and techniques to support patient treatment plans and fertility procedures.
• Deliver compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families during sensitive medical processes.
• Engage in patient education, counseling, and procedural teaching to ensure informed decision-making.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative fertility treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless delivery of care and patient satisfaction.

Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Evaluate and medically treat patients following established medical delivery standards and protocols.
• Oversee and manage the delivery of medical services by the medical staff during shifts.
• Collect and process biological specimens for diagnostic testing as required.
• Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, and treatment protocols.
• Coordinate patient treatment plans, including egg freezing, IUI, IVF, and embryo transfers.
• Perform routine phlebotomy and diagnostic ultrasounds as needed.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation using the electronic medical records system.
• Promote excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction throughout the care process.

Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid NY or NJ state Registered Nurse Licensure for ARNP or Certified Physician Assistant Licensure.
• Unrestricted, active, and current DEA number/license, if applicable to your license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fertility or OB/GYN practice; 2 years preferred.
• Ultrasound experience and a passion for women's health and fertility are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven medical setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and inspiration for team members to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays, as required.
