Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and readiness.

  • Administer medications and injections as directed within the scope of practice.

Medical Assistant Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; CMA/RMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.
  • Strong clinical and administrative skills with attention to detail and organization.
