Job Description

Audit Senior Manager Overview

  • The Audit Senior Manager will oversee multiple engagement teams to ensure the completion of financial statement audits for public and private entities.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit, sharing knowledge and providing guidance on industry trends and client issues.
  • Develop and implement recommendations for improving internal department procedures and quality control standards.
  • Identify business opportunities for clients and the organization, proactively communicating solutions to management and teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to support new client acquisition.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Collaborate with management to drive a supportive and productive organizational culture.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week.

Audit Senior Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • Active CPA or equivalent certification is required.
  • Proficiency in managing client engagements and multiple assignments effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and mentor staff members.
  • Proficient in applicable technologies and software tools.
  • Ability to travel based on business needs and client requirements.
