Paralegal Overview

  • The Paralegal role offers a dynamic opportunity to support legal operations and projects within a hybrid work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and the Legal Operations Manager to manage contracts, litigation, and corporate governance tasks.

Paralegal Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Legal Officer, attorneys, and Legal Operations Manager on diverse legal matters.
  • Draft, format, and review contracts while ensuring compliance with established procedures and workflows.
  • Maintain accurate contract data, including lifecycle presets, effective dates, and notifications for renewals.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Contract Lifecycle Management Systems and related training materials.
  • Conduct legal research, discovery tasks, and background work for claims and litigation matters.
  • Prepare draft correspondence and respond to stakeholders under the direction of legal leadership.
  • Organize and summarize legal materials, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal procedures.
  • Support special projects and assume additional responsibilities as required by the legal team.

Paralegal Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably with contract and litigation expertise.
  • Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory; notary public certification is advantageous.
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with legal professionals.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance legal operations and workflow efficiency.
