Project Manager Overview

  • The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from preconstruction to completion, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction.
  • Manage diverse commercial, industrial, corporate, multifamily, and specialized construction projects with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and budgets effectively.
  • Contribute to preconstruction activities such as estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Develop strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring smooth progression and successful completion.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and timeline expectations.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, scope development, and contract negotiations effectively.
  • Monitor financial performance, forecast costs, and manage profitability across projects.
  • Review and manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Participate in preconstruction activities, including scheduling and constructability reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Support project closeout, turnover, and commissioning processes efficiently.

Project Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex construction projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with large-scale, fast-paced, or technically complex projects is a plus.
