Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active RN license and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric care; 3 years preferred.
- MCSR and DEA licenses required for prescribing medications.
- Advanced knowledge of medicine and expertise in child/adolescent and adult psychiatry.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
