Office Assistant Overview

Office Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Welcome and assist individuals seeking wellness and support services, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments for counselors and wellness staff to optimize service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, record maintenance, and tracking program participation.

Office Assistant Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all records and interactions.
  • Preferred experience in behavioral health, healthcare, higher education, or human services.
  • Experience coordinating events, outreach activities, or community engagement programs is advantageous.
