Product Manager Overview

  • The Product Manager will lead strategic product initiatives, translating objectives into actionable plans for high-velocity engineering execution.
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure system designs align with performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Drive backlog prioritization to maintain technical quality and development velocity.
  • Act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing to discovery, design, delivery, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize analytics and observability tools to assess product health, performance, and ROI.
  • Promote AI-native practices across product and engineering disciplines.
  • Foster collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams to enhance transparency and learning.
  • Lead technical discovery and design sessions, converting complex needs into structured platform capabilities.
  • Introduce modern product management methodologies emphasizing customer-centric design and discovery-driven development.

Product Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Translate strategic objectives into detailed epics, user stories, and technical criteria for engineering execution.
  • Partner with architects to ensure system designs meet required standards across environments.
  • Lead backlog prioritization to maintain development velocity and technical quality.
  • Contribute to execution through prototypes, debugging, performance tuning, and automation improvements.
  • Utilize data instrumentation and analytics tools to evaluate product performance and ROI.
  • Establish cycle time, flow efficiency, and throughput as primary KPIs for product areas.
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure leaders to optimize technical direction and operating models.
  • Lead technical discovery and design sessions, serving as SME for assigned products.
  • Promote hands-on collaboration and continuous learning within cross-functional teams.

Product Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Product Development, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in product management, engineering, and development.
  • Proven track record leading complex technical product initiatives involving cloud infrastructure and microservices.
  • Experience using AI coding for production applications and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and ability to deeply understand systems, workflows, and data.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, providing recommendations grounded in technical insight and business impact.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective communication.
  • Knowledge of BPO or insurance industry is preferred but not required.
