Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities & Duties

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid New York State License.
• NBCOT certification and experience or training in pediatric occupational therapy.
• Proficiency in performing evaluations, screenings, and advanced assessments for therapy planning.
• Strong documentation skills to meet organizational and payer requirements.
• Ability to supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants and students effectively.
• Commitment to professional ethics and standards of practice in occupational therapy.
