• The Vice President of Loan Operations oversees complex bank loan security types and lifecycle events, ensuring accurate administrative functions and documentation preparation.
• Manage portfolios of syndicated and bilateral deals, supporting client portfolios with 50-100 facilities and associated activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of 5-10 portfolio managers, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate funding requirements with Treasury Desk, overseeing invoicing, remittance processing, and reconciliation tasks.
• Maintain robust control environments, continually improving processes to support client needs and operational efficiency.
• Support training initiatives for new hires, including those without prior loan servicing or portfolio management experience.
• Ensure compliance with credit agreements, software processes, and accurate processing of drawdowns, pay downs, and fees.
• Foster effective communication with external and internal stakeholders, including relationship managers and customers.

Vice President of Loan Operations Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management or portfolio monitoring.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, leading teams effectively.
• Proficiency in maintaining control environments and adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Detail-oriented and focused, with the ability to adapt to fluid operational requirements.
• Experience with Sentry PM software is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret credit agreements, supporting operational compliance.
