Call Center Representative Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver empathetic and professional service through phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Address participant inquiries regarding eligibility, benefits, claims, and plan-related matters.
- Research and resolve participant concerns, providing accurate information and solutions.
- Explain claim payments and assist participants in understanding denied claims.
- Verify eligibility updates and coordinate with vendors and internal departments.
- Document participant interactions and maintain detailed records.
- Assist with enrollment forms, disability claims, and other participant-related processes.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members for resolution.
- Participate in special projects and provide team support as needed.
Call Center Representative Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience.
- Preferred experience in TPA, insurance carrier, or healthcare settings.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
