Job Description

Property Manager Overview

  • The Property Manager oversees daily operations of retail/commercial properties in the Metro New York area.
  • Ensure tenant satisfaction by addressing maintenance requests and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping services.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and safety standards for all properties.
  • Utilize property management systems and technology to optimize operations and cost efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and proactive follow-up to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
  • Collaborate with tenants during move-ins, move-outs, and improvement projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Offer a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401K contributions, and health insurance options.

Property Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Strong communication and tenant relations skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and vendor management.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational issues effectively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Experience managing retail and mixed-use commercial properties is preferred.
