Private Wealth Business Analyst Overview

  • The Private Wealth Business Analyst will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability within the client’s wealth management division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement strategic solutions for client service journeys.
  • Develop and maintain journey maps, process flows, and training materials to optimize client onboarding and service processes.
  • Drive technology enablement initiatives, including requirements creation, user testing, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Analyze operational models to recommend changes that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Partner with data governance teams to ensure consistency in client and account data across systems.
  • Maintain and prioritize inventories of forms, documentation, and known technology enhancements.
  • Contribute to the organization’s strategic goals by leveraging analytical and operational expertise.

Private Wealth Business Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own and enhance the Client Service journey, including transacting, trading, maintenance, inquiry, and self-service processes.
  • Create and maintain journey maps, SOPs, playbooks, and training materials for client onboarding.
  • Identify friction points and recommend enhancements to reduce handoffs, processing times, and error rates.
  • Establish and track SLAs and KPIs to measure operational performance and client satisfaction.
  • Drive technology enablement initiatives, including requirements creation, user testing, and adoption tracking.
  • Partner with data governance teams to define and maintain client and account data dictionaries.
  • Inventory and rationalize Client Service forms and documentation to simplify workflows.
  • Maintain prioritization of known technology debt and enhancements for continuous improvement.

Private Wealth Business Analyst Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational efficiency tools.
  • Experience with automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to simplify complexity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and techniques.
