Lead AI Native Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Architect, implement, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and systems-level software using Rust.
• Take ownership of technical architecture, implementation, testing, and operational reliability of software systems.
• Evaluate architectural decisions considering scalability, security, and operational complexity.
• Establish engineering practices around code quality, automated testing, and documentation.

Lead AI Native Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional experience developing backend or systems software, including production services ownership.
• Advanced proficiency in Rust or substantial systems programming experience in C, C++, or Go.
• Working proficiency with C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of backend and systems architecture, including APIs, distributed systems, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and quality controls.
• Background in cryptography, cybersecurity, networking, or security-sensitive systems is preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
