• The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is a pivotal role in supporting the financial strategy of the organization.
• Collaborate with the Manager of FP&A to manage financial planning and analysis for government-funded and private foundation projects.
• Provide essential financial analysis for annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial planning initiatives.
• Work closely with various departments, including Payroll, Grants, Accounting, and IT, ensuring financial alignment.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to enhance decision-making processes.
• Support the organization’s mission by ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and effective grant spending.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation within financial reporting and planning cycles.
• Participate in professional development and foster an inclusive work environment.

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop grant-level budgets ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and effective utilization of funds.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports, highlighting key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
• Create and deliver actionable financial reports and dashboards using Vena Solutions and other tools.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure data consistency and alignment across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and data collection processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements within financial reporting and planning cycles.
• Provide technical and analytical support to the Billing Operations team.
• Manage high-impact special projects and prioritize critical tasks effectively.

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Experience with Vena Solutions and NetSuite preferred.
• Knowledge of grants, billing practices, and related regulations is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
