Equity Investment Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct fundamental research on IT sector companies, providing independent insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasts and valuation analyses.
• Analyze quarterly earnings results, company guidance, and industry disclosures to refine investment theses.
• Prepare investment materials and contribute sector commentary for internal communications.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to identify new investment opportunities.
• Utilize data analytics tools to organize and analyze large datasets for investment insights.
• Support ESG evaluation frameworks and other research processes to align with organizational goals.
• Participate in domestic and international travel as required for research and collaboration.

Equity Investment Analyst Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• CFA designation or progress toward it is preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in equity research, investment management, or related analytical roles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of financial statements.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial research platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Python or SQL is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting research findings effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
