Designer Overview

• The Designer role involves creating innovative interior and architectural designs for diverse projects.
• Collaborate in a hybrid work environment combining remote and on-site responsibilities.

• Utilize advanced design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.

• Interface with clients, contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure project success.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on creativity and problem-solving.
• Maintain adherence to drafting and graphic standards, ensuring consistency in project documentation.

Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist and lead design efforts for various interior and architectural projects.
• Participate in programming, space planning, and design activities across project phases.
• Develop reflected ceiling and lighting layouts incorporating technical requirements.
• Prepare project design documentation and conduct client presentations effectively.
• Research innovative product applications and select appropriate finishes and fixtures.
• Verify and evaluate existing interior spaces prior to design development.
• Collaborate with engineering and specialty consultants to integrate systems into designs.
• Control project costs by designing within budget parameters.
• Assist project managers in construction administration tasks and ensure project success.

Designer Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Technology or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design or architectural projects; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of interior architectural concepts, spatial relationships, and building systems.
• Experience in all phases of project delivery, from design to construction administration.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical drawings and illustrations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards, drafting, and graphic protocols.
