• The Finance Manager will oversee global finance operations for the Recorded Music division, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with global finance leads, Corporate Finance, and regional offices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Lead month-end, forecast, and budget reporting processes, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure accurate payroll, bonus-related expenses, and cost tracking across departments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational finance needs and resolve issues effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting templates and workflows.
• Support audit requirements and ensure documentation readiness for internal and external audits.
• Contribute to annual budget and strategic planning processes under senior leadership guidance.
• Respond to ad-hoc financial reporting requests, delivering clear insights and recommendations.

Finance Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead monthly financial close and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and prepare executive-ready financial commentary.
• Oversee headcount, payroll, and bonus-related expenses, ensuring proper allocations and reporting.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to provide actionable insights through regular reviews.
• Facilitate cross-affiliate recharges and manage central funding pools.
• Partner with Finance SSC and Procurement teams to support operational finance needs.
• Maintain reporting schedules for department overhead, legal fees, and savings initiatives.
• Enhance reporting processes by improving templates and workflows.
• Assist in budget and strategic planning processes as directed by senior leadership.

Finance Manager Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Strong analytical, visualization, and presentation skills for complex analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience within the music industry and leveraging AI tools is a plus.
• Willingness and capability to mentor junior team members effectively.
• Driver of change with a focus on developing best-in-class processes and reporting.
• Ability to respond to ad-hoc financial requests with actionable recommendations.
