Medical Assistant Overview

  • The Medical Assistant role offers a dynamic opportunity to support clinical staff and physicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Perform routine clinical and clerical tasks to ensure efficient operations within the healthcare facility.
  • Document patient vitals, medications, and visit reasons using electronic medical records (EMR).

Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

Medical Assistant Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred for optimal performance.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) essential.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail are critical.
