Temporary Recruiter Overview
- The Temporary Recruiter will support talent acquisition processes for a dynamic organization during a 12-16 week contract period.
- Coordinate high-volume recruitment activities, ensuring seamless communication and scheduling for candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and manage applicant tracking systems, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Prepare interview materials and facilitate candidate screenings across multiple locations.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional communication and efficient scheduling.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to prioritize recruitment activities based on business needs.
- Work on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Support confidential matters and liaise effectively with all levels of management.
Temporary Recruiter Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, managing communications via phone and email.
- Create and monitor job requisitions using the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare and distribute interview materials to hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity reports.
- Ensure documentation of recruitment processes and communication within the ATS.
- Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring smooth interactions.
- Manage scheduling conflicts with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Support strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively under time constraints.
Temporary Recruiter Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or talent acquisition is preferred.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases is advantageous.
- Experience using professional social networks, particularly LinkedIn, is preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage confidential matters with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively.
