Endpoint Engineer Overview

• As an Endpoint Engineer, you will lead endpoint management initiatives, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize endpoint practices and improve device lifecycle management.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools and automation to enhance endpoint engineering and troubleshooting processes.
• Design and implement cloud-native device management strategies using Microsoft Intune and related technologies.
• Ensure endpoint security controls align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Develop standardized processes for device provisioning, updates, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and endpoint modernization projects to enhance security and efficiency.

Endpoint Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage endpoint lifecycle processes, including provisioning, compliance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Lead migration from legacy systems to modern endpoint management platforms.
• Implement and maintain endpoint security measures such as BitLocker and Defender.
• Design and optimize Intune configurations for device management and application deployment.
• Package and deploy enterprise applications using Intune and related tools.
• Support incident response, change management, and service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver endpoint engineering projects effectively.
• Maintain documentation for endpoint architecture, policies, and deployment processes.

Endpoint Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud-native device management.
• Experience with endpoint security controls and compliance policies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS and device management tools.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools for automation and reporting is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
