• The Head of IT will lead the client's information technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering innovation across the organization.
• Drive modernization of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for global operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that support investment and business goals.
• Lead organizational change by adopting new tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Manage IT service providers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and compliance standards upheld.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize disruptions.
• Oversee IT team development, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and data protection regulations.
• Support operational due diligence and investor interviews with accurate IT documentation and metrics.

Head of IT Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Define and execute the firm's IT roadmap in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Manage cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring modernization and scalability of systems.
• Implement robust security measures, including access controls, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits.
• Lead IT projects from planning to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with teams to assess technology needs and define solution criteria.
• Manage IT service providers and vendors, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Develop and enforce data security policies across the organization.
• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, and policy frameworks.
• Provide security awareness training and manage incident response protocols.

Head of IT Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• 7-15 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft M365, Azure, Intune, and other cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance protocols.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, and budgets effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive technology adoption.
• Expertise in scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Python is a plus.
• Previous experience leading IT teams in a financial services environment preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
