Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensuring effective workflow and high-quality deliverables.
• Serve as the primary client contact, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable processes, and cash management activities.
• Implement process improvements and leverage cloud-based accounting systems to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with tax and audit teams to ensure compliance and provide advisory services.
• Train and mentor staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Assist with capacity planning, workflow management, and scaling efforts to meet organizational goals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with 12 years preferred, ideally in public accounting CAS environments.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment within a fast-paced and evolving organization.
