Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Billing Operations Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage the full order-to-cash cycle, including deal booking, invoicing, and collections support.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead automation projects to enhance billing and revenue systems across multiple verticals.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and Data teams to improve data quality and system configuration.
• Develop and implement controls for SOX and IPO readiness, supporting external audits.
• Partner with Sales and Legal teams to review deal structures and ensure upfront recognition and billing treatment.

Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Billing Operations Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, including management roles.
• Expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition for complex billing models.
• Proven track record in automating accounting processes and systems.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred CPA certification and experience in high-growth technology companies.
