Litigation Paralegal Overview

  • The Litigation Paralegal role offers an opportunity to support complex litigation and regulatory matters within a leading law firm.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and case teams to manage litigation phases, investigations, and regulatory proceedings effectively.

Litigation Paralegal Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide substantive paralegal support throughout litigation phases, from inception to resolution, under attorney supervision.
  • Coordinate discovery processes, including document collection, review, and organization of investigative materials.
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, exhibits, and regulatory submissions accurately and timely.
  • Assist in deposition and witness preparation, organizing exhibits and supporting documentation.
  • Provide trial and hearing support, including logistics coordination and tracking case developments.
  • Utilize legal technology and research tools effectively to support complex assignments.
  • Ensure quality control and attention to detail in all legal documentation and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and priorities efficiently.

Litigation Paralegal Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent declaration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Experience with U.S. government regulatory filings and databases is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in legal technology, applications, and research tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work schedule and collaborate effectively with teams.
