Senior DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement solutions to optimize infrastructure and system architecture.
• Develop monitoring systems to ensure system health and implement self-healing mechanisms.
• Support R&D environments and enhance development processes.
• Build and maintain FedRAMP-compliant infrastructure to meet security standards.
• Analyze logs and create dashboards to improve observability and monitoring.
• Respond promptly to system issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply continuous upgrades and resolve vulnerabilities in compliance with FedRAMP standards.

Senior DevOps Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps roles; 7 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and other deployment tools like Ansible.
• Experience with FedRAMP-compliant systems and public cloud environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of OS, networking, and file system management.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• US citizenship required due to FedRAMP compliance.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
