Director, Financial Controller Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead financial control and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across multiple entities.
• Maintain broker-dealer records, ensuring adherence to capital adequacy and regulatory standards.
• Deliver accurate and timely regulatory and management reporting for US Global Markets.
• Supervise month-end close processes, ensuring financial accuracy and robust local controls.
• Build and maintain partnerships with auditors, regulators, and compliance teams.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing finance team, promoting innovation and collaboration.
• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on financial strategies.
• Proactively identify and address risks, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.

Director, Financial Controller Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial control and regulatory reporting; 12 years preferred.
• CPA and Series 27 certifications are required for this role.
• Strong knowledge of broker-dealer regulations and banking products.
• Proven track record in managing financial controls within regulated environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
