Software Engineer, AI & Internal Tools Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, build, and maintain internal tools to streamline manual processes across various departments.
• Develop production-quality code using Python and TypeScript, ensuring proper testing and version control.
• Implement AI workflows for document parsing, data extraction, and decision support systems.
• Orchestrate AI agents using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and structured outputs.
• Manage sensitive data and third-party integrations with appropriate access controls.

Software Engineer, AI & Internal Tools Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software or data engineering; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, including production-grade code development.
• Experience with full-stack web frameworks like Next.js/React and relational databases like Postgres.
• Knowledge of modern AI tooling, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and structured outputs.
• Background in data analytics, financial systems, or accounting workflows is a strong plus.
• Experience with PLM or ERP systems and integration processes is advantageous.
