• Work on integrating self-hosted and SaaS services, collaborating with developers on software architecture.

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and manage Kubernetes architecture, including cluster lifecycle and operational management.
• Integrate new services, ensuring compatibility and scalability within the cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, and external connectivity for optimized performance.
• Develop edge and traffic management strategies, including CDN, DNS, and TLS configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to establish and enforce platform standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize traffic flows, ensuring consistent networking across environments.
• Produce architectural guardrails and design documents to guide infrastructure development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams working on cloud infrastructure projects.

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years in cloud or infrastructure engineering roles, with architectural responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes platforms, including autoscaling, node provisioning, and security.
• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, networking, and managed services.
• Experience with cloud networking architecture patterns, including VPC design and routing.
• Preferred experience with API Gateways, Akamai management, and application design principles.
• Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to articulate architectural decisions to diverse audiences.
