Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Work with stakeholders to define project objectives and scope 
  • Develop and manage project schedule and budget 
  • Prepare and update project roadmaps and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status 
  • Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation 
  • Promote and follow a defined project management process and implement best practices 
  • Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the team 
  • Perform other related duties as needed 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Science-related field required 
  • 3+ years related experience 
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning 
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices 
  • Ideal candidate should be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, develop creative or alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving situations. 
  • Attention to detail is a must 
  • Ability to learn & apply new skills 
  • Use resources effectively & adapt new technologies 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Adapt to changes in work environment & competing demands 
  • Look for ways to improve & promote quality; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness 
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams
