Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Work with stakeholders to define project objectives and scope
- Develop and manage project schedule and budget
- Prepare and update project roadmaps and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status
- Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Promote and follow a defined project management process and implement best practices
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the team
- Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Science-related field required
- 3+ years related experience
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Ideal candidate should be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, develop creative or alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving situations.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to learn & apply new skills
- Use resources effectively & adapt new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adapt to changes in work environment & competing demands
- Look for ways to improve & promote quality; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Experience overseeing multi-function project teams
