Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, handle enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing.
  • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files and updating of employee payroll records.
  • Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on various employee benefits plans.
  • Survey industry and/or community to determine company's competitive position in employee benefits.
  • Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.
  • Provide training and support to group benefits associates, home office associates, and the field staff.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of benefits administration.
  • Experience with Leave of Absence (LOA) management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday software is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
