Job Description

Summary:

Green Key Resources is representing a large hospital system who is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join their team full time. This is a 6 month contract to start, and may go perm for the right fit. Role is 100% remote, but candidate must be able to work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm CST.

Duties:

  • This position is expected to support the Human Resource department by ensuring effective integration of Payroll/Timekeeping data.
  • Interprets, explains, and complies with negotiated contracts, prescribed laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Research, analyze and retrieve data to prepare and maintain complex payroll records, summaries and reports.
  • Reconcile differences within established payroll, benefit, retirement, and accounting systems using critical analysis skills.
  • Develop systems and processes through project management methodologies of testing and implementation of new or modified payroll/timekeeping components.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting and/or Management with a minimum of 5 years advanced payroll experience, an Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Management with a minimum of 7 year advanced payroll experience or HS Diploma/GED and a minimum of 9 years of advanced payroll experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets required.
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations pertaining to Payroll and Tax reporting preferred.
