    Seeking a Word Processing Specialist to serve as the primary contact for users seeking word processing assistance and document problem resolution. Requires advanced tech skills, rapid learning ability, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and edit documents.
  • Assist with application upgrades, including testing and providing recommendations.
  • Convert and clean up documents; create and revise complex legal documents per guidelines.
  • Provide technical assistance via email, phone, helpdesk ticketing system, and in-person.
  • Facilitate creation/editing of Table of Authorities and Table of Contents, Hyperlink using Westlaw and Lexis; bookmark and manage e-filing in Federal and State Courts.
  • Conduct data entry using various software applications and transcribe analog/digital dictation.
  • Perform in-person and virtual notarizations as required.
  • Serve as department secretary when requested or required.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of years law firm secretarial and/or word processing experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite and iManage.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
