Job Description
Duties:
· Reviewing client account status, follow up and monitor receivables.
· Collaborate with assigned partners and determine action plans for collections.
· Communicate directly with clients to secure payments in a timely manner.
· Provide documentation and analysis to management and clients as needed.
· Maintain detailed records of actions taken to facilitate payments.
· Coordinate with team regarding assigned receivables portfolio and discuss strategy and escalation as needed.
· Researching, analyze, and resolve client deductions and unapplied credits.
· Collaborate with Billing and Finance department regarding client deductions, cash receipts, collections, and other special projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Collections Specialist in the legal or professional service industry
- Previous experience with a law firm is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Follow up on client accounts with minimal supervision.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and interact well with co-workers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
