Nurse Manager

Duties:

• Consults and collaborates with other health team members to coordinate and maximize the quality of patient care.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and assumes role of patient advocate. Supports and participates in the orientation of new personnel to the unit.
• Assigns unit staff to breaks and replaces nurses during breaks when necessary.
• Identifies the learning needs of nursing
• Development Instructor and organizes in-service programs for staff to facilitate introduction of current trends in clinical practice.
• Makes effective recommendations for hiring, firing, and performance appraisals for nursing staff.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Nursing Supervisory experience
• Med Surge experience
