Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement detailed plans for program activities, aligning with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee daily program operations, coordinating events and activities to ensure alignment with established objectives.
  • Evaluate program performance regularly and adjust strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Manage comprehensive records of program operations, including data on participants and event outcomes.
  • Compile and present detailed reports on program progress and achievements to senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance participant engagement and knowledge.
  • Oversee budget management for programs, including tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, community organizations, and partners to enhance program visibility and impact.
  • Represent the organization at professional gatherings, conferences, and public events to promote program initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with proven experience in program coordination or project management.
  • Strong command of both written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with superior time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other related software.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing workloads in a fast-paced setting.
  • Resides or is able to work in the Washington, D.C. area.
