Superintendent

Summary:

Our client is a leading general contractor in the Columbus, OH area that focuses on healthcare, education, office space, and retail. They are seeking a 3+ year superintendent with experience in one of their core project industries.

Duties:

• Oversee daily on-site management of construction projects, consistently upholding our company’s safety culture by leading through example and demonstrating a passion for safety excellence.
• Responsible for maintaining project schedules, managing suppliers, controlling costs, and ensuring quality.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
• Perform carpentry tasks as needed, including installing doors, door hardware, blocking, and partitions.
• Maintain necessary paperwork, including daily reports, timesheets, safety audits, and drawings.
• Mediate between on-site personnel to find mutually beneficial solutions.
• Conduct walkthroughs and handle punch list items after project completion.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years-minimum experience managing work as a foreman and/or superintendent.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
