This Labor Day we at Green Key Resources say “Thank You” to all the nation’s essential workers.

Thank you to the postal carriers and drivers who brought us the mail and delivered our packages.

Thank you healthcare professionals who braved the coronavirus to care for the sick and provide comfort to their families.

Thank you farmers and farm workers, grocery clerks, cashiers, butchers and the many other food workers and thank you teachers and transit workers, firefighters, police officers, and all those others who kept the vital services functioning while most of the rest of us sheltered at home.

We want you to know we appreciate everything you’ve done and continue to do.

From all of us at Green Key Resources, we wish all of America a restful Labor Day.

Happy Hanukkah!

Whether you spell Hanukkah or Chanukah or one of the many other ways, for Jewish families all across the world tonight begins a time of joy and celebrating with food, gifts and games. After this last year, who wouldn’t welcome a joyful celebration!

Hanukkah begins with the lighting of the first of the menorah candles. For each of the next seven nights, an additional candle is lit until all 8 are glowing. For that reason Hanukkah is also known as the Festival of Lights. It celebrates the victory over a Greek army by a small group of Jewish warriors. In rededicating the Jerusalem temple, they found only a small amount of sacred oil to light the menorah. Miraculously, the oil burned for 8 days.

To all friends who celebrate the holiday we say Chanukah Sameach!
