Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the System Director of Laboratory Services, the Hospital Laboratory Manager will be the primary Laboratory Leader for the hospital and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical leaders. Key responsibilities include:

·        Oversee daily operations of the clinical laboratory, including Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, and Pathology

·        Manage, schedule, and support a team of 90+ Medical Technologists and Laboratory Technicians

·        Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and other relevant regulations

·        Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory, equipment, and budget

·        Implement and manage quality control programs and proficiency testing

·        Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital departments to support patient care

·        Lead training and continuing education programs for lab staff

·        Analyze laboratory data to improve efficiency and service delivery

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Hospital Laboratory Manager will possess:

·        Bachelor’s degree

·        At least 3 years of Laboratory leadership experience in acute care settings

·        Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and strategic growth
