Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure contract compliance
  • Monitor job site safety and quality control in coordination with field staff
  • Ensure timely communication and reporting with stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
  • Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven track record delivering successful projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools

Preferred Experience:

  • Ground-up and renovation commercial projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
