Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Assistant RN Manager Med Surg will lead workflow operations. Both Days and Night Shifts are available. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate patient throughput and unit workflow
- Mentor and train a team of Registered Nurses, LPNs and Patient Care Technicians
- Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Organizes staff scheduling and unit supply inventory
- Be an influential change agent implementing evidence-based process improvement and workflow initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital departments to support patient care
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal Assistant RN Manager Med Surg will possess:
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of med surg experience
