Job Description
Title: Contracts Reviewer
Responsibilities
- Review vendor, consulting, and service agreements with a critical legal and business lens
- Identify areas of risk and collaborate with internal stakeholders to advise on mitigation or acceptance strategies
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to clarify terms, revisions, and timelines
- Drive contracts through finalization and signature, managing redlines and negotiations as needed
- Maintain awareness of company risk tolerance and compliance standards when evaluating terms
- Provide guidance and recommendations that balance legal concerns with operational needs
- Support process tracking and document organization throughout the contract lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience reviewing commercial and operational contracts within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and vendor negotiation
- Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment (legal, procurement, operations)
- Prior work with organizations transitioning from clinical development into commercialization preferred
- JD not required, but strong legal acumen and experience evaluating contractual risk are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while communicating effectively with stakeholders
