Traveling Superintendent – Healthcare Construction

Location: Toledo, OH (Travel Required)

We are looking for a skilled Traveling Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of a ground-up healthcare construction project in Toledo, Ohio, with ongoing travel to other projects throughout the region.

The right candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare construction, a strong understanding of compliance and safety requirements in medical environments, and a hands-on leadership approach to managing field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction efforts from mobilization through project turnover
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Manage jobsite documentation, daily reports, inspections, and issue tracking
• Collaborate with the project management team to drive project milestones
• Maintain compliance with healthcare facility protocols and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of superintendent experience on healthcare or medical facility projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage fast-paced construction sites while ensuring safety and quality
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Ohio and surrounding states
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.)
• OSHA 30 certification and knowledge of healthcare construction compliance standards (e.g., ICRA)
