Job Description

Surgery Center Administrator

📍 Cincinnati, OH

Full-Time | Executive-Level | Healthcare Administration

A highly respected, physician-owned ambulatory surgery center is seeking a sharp, experienced Administrator to lead its operations and support continued excellence in outpatient spine and pain procedures.

This is more than a leadership role—it’s an opportunity to step into a center that’s already running efficiently, with high patient satisfaction, a collaborative clinical team, and a foundation built on innovation. Your job? Take it even further.

You’ll oversee all aspects of the center’s operations: staffing, compliance, budgeting, quality improvement, physician relations, and strategic planning. The facility includes three ORs and two procedure rooms, and offers 23-hour capabilities when needed. The surgeons here are nationally respected, and they’re looking for a partner in leadership who understands the rhythm of an ASC and knows how to keep both the clinical and financial engines running strong.

This role includes:

  • Full oversight of daily operations, with support from engaged clinical and physician teams
  • Strategic development of services, growth planning, and efficiency optimization
  • Compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies (AAAHC, Medicare)
  • Financial planning, budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Staff development, credentialing, and productivity oversight

What you'll need to bring:

  • Leadership experience in an ASC or hospital surgical setting (with ASC exposure)
  • Strong financial, operational, and compliance skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and executive partners
  • A calm, clear leadership style grounded in accountability and communication

And a note about the setting:

This center is located in Cincinnati, a city that blends Midwest grit with rich history and revitalized neighborhoods. Whether you’re into art museums, indie coffee shops, historic architecture, or major league baseball, Cincinnati has a way of surprising people—in the best way. It’s accessible, affordable, and offers the kind of work-life balance that actually feels achievable.

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive salary + full benefits
  • Relocation assistance, if applicable
  • Quarterly + annual bonus potential
  • The autonomy to lead and the support to succeed

If you’re ready to lead a successful surgical center into its next chapter—with the trust of top physicians behind you—this role is worth a closer look.
