The Medical Director Role

The Medical Director of this clinical site will work directly with the Regional Medical Director while having autonomy to shape clinical operations and implement innovative geriatric care approaches. This newly renovated building is designed specifically for senior care, where you'll establish protocols and create the gold standard for geriatric medicine.

Perfect for: Board-certified geriatricians or physicians with deep elder care experience passionate about leading dedicated senior care teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive geriatric assessments for complex, frail elderly patients (average age 75+)
  • Manage polypharmacy, cognitive decline, and multimorbidity with interdisciplinary support
  • Develop geriatric-specific quality improvement initiatives (QAPI)
  • Recruit and mentor physicians passionate about elder care
  • Coordinate care across the full spectrum of aging needs
  • Ensure compliance with CMS PACE regulations and geriatric care standards

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with board certification in Geriatrics strongly preferred, OR Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with significant elderly care experience
  • 5 years practicing medicine with extensive geriatric patient focus
  • Previous experience in PACE, geriatric medicine, or senior-focused care models
  • Current, unrestricted California medical license and DEA certificate

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Passion for geriatric medicine and complex elderly populations
  • Experience with interdisciplinary team-based geriatric care
  • Strong clinical judgment for end-of-life and goals-of-care conversations

Exceptional Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $275,000 – $325,000
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 10% annually
  • Total Potential: Up to $372,500
