Business Development Director

Overview

• Lead business development efforts for a dynamic construction organization in Houston, TX.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and company goals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to expand the client base.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and track production and sales goals to drive company growth.
• Research market trends and prospective clients to identify opportunities.
• Perform relationship-building activities with current and potential clients.
• Consult with executive leadership on organizational health and business strategies.
• Support marketing efforts by preparing proposals and customized presentations.
• Oversee CRM database updates and client interaction tracking.
• Attend and represent the company at industry events and tradeshows.
• Lead initiatives to enhance company visibility and reputation in the market.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or marketing roles.
• Preferred 10 years of experience, ideally within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
